Crochet Motifs: The Granny Square

Learn how to create the quintessential crochet motif: the Granny Square. We’ll explore some basic pattern and chart reading, color and fiber selection, joining as you go and assembly techniques and then some variations on the traditional granny.

This is not a beginners’ learn-to-crochet class. Participants should have a basic knowledge of crochet, including single and double crochet stitches.

Susan is lifelong knitter who is a Level II Certified Craft Yarn Council Knit and Crochet Teacher.    She is a nationally recognized teacher in the Discover Knit and Crochet program designed by the Craft Yarn Council and delivered at Michaels.  She is the Program Chair of the Big Apple Knitters Guild in New York City.
