Friday, 11:30 am to 1:00pm

So you have decided to make your own yarn.  Fantastic!  You will soon be knitting or crocheting with one-of-a-kind yarn.  We will learn the Spin and Park method of spinning.  You will learn about a few types of fibers and which are best for beginners and how to prepare for spinning.  If there is time you will also learn plying.  An ounce of fiber will be supplied for each student. Materials include a simple hand turned spindle (by Jim) for $30.  More fiber will be available for purchase.
