Felted Soap Class

Saturday:   11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Learn to make hand felted soaps! No experience necessary. This class will cover basic felting techniques and teach how to wrap and felt your soap bar. Felted soap makes a great gifts; It’s a luxury bar of handmade soap with a built in mildly exfoliating wash cloth. You can pick your choice of soap and colored wool. Materials fee of $10 is payable to instructor.

Needle Felted Mouse

Saturday:  2pm to 5pm

In this class you will learn to needle felt an adorable mouse. No experience is necessary! Needle felting is a process in which wool fibers are shaped and condensed with barbed needles to create sculpture. With needle felting you can create any shape or creature you can imagine. All tools and supplies are provided by the instructor.

 

Your Instructor:

Kerstin Katko, AKA Ducky, is a highly distractible gluten free lover of all fiber arts. She runs Ducky’s Sheep Shack, a fiber arts studio and supply store in Long Valley New Jersey (and online at duckyssheepshack.com). She teaches classes in wet and needle felting, spinning, dyeing, knitting and crochet. She loves dark chocolate. A lot.
